ntle yoga and a home-made buffet breakfast, then walk into the forest guided by our dogs to swim in the waterfall. Spend another day enjoying one of the many local activities in the area, then end your adventures with drinks and a lovely prepared healthy dinner around the fire or candle-lit bar deck. 🌳 Join for a Wild Immersion experience on Friday where we will be adventuring down, down, down into the Magic Forest at Khoinania (Wild Spirit) as we deepen our embodied sense of belonging to and reverence for the land beneath our feet.

Last night at Wild Spirit 🌿🐾

We gathered in the on the deck for Tracking Connection, a beautiful evening of connective conversation exploring animal tracking not simply as a science, but as story, art and a way of paying deeper attention to the living world around us.

Our guests, expert tracker naturalists Jonathan Poppele and Marcus Reynerson, shared their incredible depth of experience, stories and knowledge, opening up a conversation about what happens when we slow down enough to really notice what nature is telling us. Jonathan brings a background in conservation biology, wildlife tracking and nature connection, while Marcus has spent many years working in tracking, conservation, education and storytelling across Africa, Europe and North America.

These are exactly the kinds of conversations we love having at Wild Spirit. Ones that bring people together, spark curiosity and remind us that we are part of nature, not separate from it. 🌿

A huge thank you to Jonathan and Marcus for sharing their wisdom with us, and to everyone who came along, listened, questioned and connected. 💚

A full power Lion’s Gate weekend at Wild Spirit 🦁🔥✨

So much beautiful energy moving through this place this weekend.

We held the very first Shaktivation BONE DANCE with Lucy in the Wild in the Sound Studio. A movement and music journey for women to shake, move, release, activate and reconnect with the wild Shakti energy within. 🔥💃

After dinner, the beautiful Anika blessed us with her medicine songs, bringing us back down into our hearts after all that activation. 🎶💗

And we had the absolute privilege of hosting Nitoh, the One Legged Activist, who is taking on an incredible disability awareness challenge, travelling on foot across South Africa to raise awareness and visibility for people living with disabilities. 🦿🇿🇦

From Pretoria to Cape Town, Durban, the Garden Route, Polokwane and eventually back to Pretoria. What a human. What a mission.

Movement. Music. Medicine. Courage. Connection.

A heart-opening, body-shaking, perspective-shifting and activating Lion’s Gate weekend all round.

Wild Spirit doing what Wild Spirit does best. Bringing wildly different humans together and reminding us just how much magic can happen when we share space. 🌿🦁✨
