At Madidaba, we like to get together. People of Africa - we meet, we kuier, we laugh, we enjoy the kids having fun, and we relax....
This means... No TV’s in the room (ok - there is one in the bar!), No cellphone reception (yeah, yeah, if you really need to, you can find it under the tree or next to the rock - someone will show you where). Lots of African art - the real stuff, from real artists all over Africa - not for sale, only to enjoy! Dorms for the big groups, luxury rooms for the Kings and Queens. No self-catering, but plenty of space to braai or enjoy our African inspired meals. Of course, there is the bar behind (security) bars we are in SA, we have to lock everything up...
We forget about politics, the Guptas, and everything bad. We live our culture, we make jokes of everything (heard the latest joke - come share it with us!).

It’s the perfect location to train staff, focus on business and build a flawless team. We cater for groups of 30-300. Wedding Venue Tie the knot at Madidaba where your fantasy wedding comes true. Whether you want a small intimate affair for 50 people or a large elaborate wedding ceremony for 300 people, we are the perfect venue for you. Party venue Madidaba is your perfect party destination. We are the celebration location. You party, we plan. Is it a deal? We cater for groups of 30-100 people. Year end function End a great year at Madidaba. Spoil every member of your team as a token of your appreciation for a job well done. We cater for groups from 30 to 200 people. Recreational camps We can cater for 30-200 students in the dormitories. Bedding, crockery and cutlery is available at additional costs. Our kitchen will provide for all your culinary needs. External facilitators are used or bring your own. Game Drives All visitors are welcome to drive through the resort with their own 4x4 vehicles. But if you want a more informative drive we recommend you book Madidaba’s private game drive. Bird Watching Bring your binoculars and come discover the amazing bird life the Madidaba’s valley has to offer. Hiking Pack your hiking boots and forget about city stress. Relax and enjoy the piece that mother nature has to offer Observe our animal kingdom in their natural habitat. Team building Madidaba challenges you and your team to participate in a team building event. External facilitators are used. Activities differ according to group specifics. Booking is essential. Fishing There are two fishing dams on the farm. Catch and release only. Invite your friends, pack a cooler-box and take a well deserved break from city life - 25 min from Pretoria East. Picnics A picnic basket of your choice will be prepared for you by Madidaba. Booking is essential. Mountain biking Bring your mountain bikes and set off on a adventure fill with exiting challenges. We have tracks for 10kms to 70kms. Enjoy the beautiful scenery that mother nature has to offer. Swimming Madidaba has a swimming pool to cool you down when the hot African sun beats down on mother earth. Children are only permitted to swim under the supervision of an adult.
