We offer 18 uniquely styled rooms across three heritage buildings, dating back as far as 1809. From the Winterhoek Manor (1813) and the Toll House (1809) to the main hotel (1859), each space combines character and modern luxury. Think yellowwood floors, chandeliers and four-poster beds alongside air conditioning, Wi-Fi, fireplaces and contemporary finishes.

The wait is over… our new Suites are ready to welcome you! 🤍

After months of work behind the scenes, we can finally introduce you to Yellowwood, Milkwood and Aloe, our three beautiful new Suites!

Each comes with its own private Jacuzzi, fireplace, bath and shower, with our newly redesigned main pool just a few steps away. We’ve loved watching these spaces come together, and we’re incredibly proud of what our team has created.

Now comes the part we’ve been looking forward to most: opening the doors and welcoming you in!

Booking your Tulbagh stay is about to look a little different...

As The Tulbagh Hotel grows and our new rooms take shape, we’re introducing a simpler way to choose your stay.

You’ll now find five room Categories across two Collections.

Your Category is what you’ll choose when booking. It helps you select the room features that matter to you, from a Suite with a private jacuzzi, fireplace, bath and shower, to Signature, Deluxe and Classic Rooms, plus our Family Room.

Our rooms are then found across two distinct settings: the Contemporary Collection, in and around the main hotel near The Olive Terrace Bistro, The Karee W**e Bar and the main pool, and the Heritage Collection, set within our historic Church Street buildings.

Our next chapter is already open for bookings, with more of the new-look rooms still to be revealed.

To everyone who joined us for our Thai Street Food Evening, thank you for filling The Olive Terrace Bistro with good company, plenty of laughter and very happy tables.

A well-deserved round of applause for Marlin! 👏🌟

We’re very happy to congratulate Marlin, our Staff Member of the Month.

His positive attitude, willingness to help and determination to always give his best shine through in everything he does. Marlin is someone we can count on to step in when needed and who genuinely cares about our hotel, our guests and the team around him.

When your team spends every day making other people feel welcome, sometimes you need to turn the attention back on them 🤍

So we closed the hotel, rented a bus and took our whole Tulbagh Hotel family to Die Strandloper in Langebaan.

It was a day for good food and plenty of laughter, and most importantly, for celebrating what this team has achieved together.

Being named Kfm’s Best Hotel in the Cape and receiving the Station’s Choice Award meant so much to all of us. We wanted to celebrate properly and spend some time together talking about what that recognition meant to us.

To our Tulbagh Hotel family, thank you for being you 🤍🏆
