Fraaigelegen Farm Fraaigelegen Farm in Tulbagh is a working w**e and olive farm. We are 90 mins from Cape Town, along the Cape W**elands Route. Our Olive Cottage is pet friendly.

We have 3 self catering cottages, sleeping 4 guests each and a caravan/motorhome site with a clean ablution & barbecue facility. We have 3 self catering chalets, sleeping 4 each. We also offer a simple caravan/ motorhome site, which overlanders enjoy. We are just 90 mins from Cape Town and rest under the majestic Witzenberg Mountains. Come and visit us on our w**e and olive farm and take the time to simply retreat and rejuvenate. From Germany to South Africa....

Venishree and Juergen acquired Fraaigelegen Farm as an ideal country escape to retreat, rejuvenate and to just listen to the silence. Add to that...w**e, food and glorious sunshine and snow-topped mountain ranges! The well-travelled couple resigned from their corporate roles in Germany, travelled for a few months in their camper van with their pet (Afra: a German Hovawart breed) through the Nordic and Baltic States and then did the bold move with Afra to the stunning Tulbagh Valley in South Africa. Their agritourism business flourishes year by year and ranks highly on all platforms. Loyal guests have been returning numerous times as they enjoy the surrounding natural beauty and the hospitality. Guests leave refreshed and rejuvenated. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY is their motto and they believe in farming sustainably with the land, not against. Since the launch of their ADHARA PREMIUM brand in 2018, their ADHARA EVOO extra virgin olive oil has garnered 6 awards locally and internationally. They will be launching their ADHARA PREMIUM W**E label very soon.

Important Update: Manley Summer Soirée Cancelled

We regret to inform our guests and followers that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the artist scheduled to perform at the Manley Summer Soirée is no longer able to attend. As a result, the event will not be continuing as planned on Saturday, 22 November 2025.
