Golden light filters through ancient trees. The river moves quietly beside you, and for once, there’s nowhere you need to be but here.

At Mpala Jena, time slows to the rhythm of the Zambezi.
A place to pause. To breathe. To simply be.

Set along the banks of the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe, Mpala Jena is an intimate safari retreat where barefoot luxury comes naturally.

The camp’s flowing canvas tented suites are tucked into the landscape, each with its own private veranda overlooking the river. Inside, thoughtful details and understated luxury create a sense of calm, while outdoor bathrooms invite you to experience the magic of the bush a little closer.

Days unfold between safari drives, river cruises and quiet moments beside the water with the sounds of the Zambezi always close by.
