So I studied MBBcH at wits, and graduated in 2024
I was on Deans List and a member of the golden Key society.
I was privileged enough to work for a company doing transplant surgeries on burns patients for 3 years.
I was a leader of the surgical society, a nationally recognised organisation that promoted and educates on the potential of surgery and surgical skills.
I did an internship with Dr VanDerSchyf in organ transplant surgeries. And I did an internship in Germany in general surgery.
I have a passion for learning and have completed many adjunctive skills building courses such as advanced life support, advanced suturing and plastic surgery skills building, ultrasound and radiology skills building, surgical robotics training, and IMAM paediatrics nutrition training.
I am currently completing my internship training at the Greys hospital complex in piatermaritzburg KZN, I am one of the group leaders for paediatrics and obstetrics and gyenacology. And I am part of the PMBlife first year social committee.
I have also done volunteer work with the paediatrics departments at Joburg gen hospital, specifically raising money for donations and the smile foundation, which helps children with facial deformities in building a smile with the help of plastic surgery.
I have been able to publish research on paediatric patients with hydrocephalus and optimising their treatment, based at Donald Gordon hospital
