Escape from the city but have the convenience of Bay West Mall and a selection of shops and restaurants in a scenic 20 minute radius. Most of the resort fronts on the tranquil Van Stadens River estuary. There are sand-boards, peddle-boats, paddle skis and canoes for hire. Come fishing, birding or swim in the lagoon. The resort offers accommodation for everyone. Beach Units furnish seclusion, a touch of luxury & the ocean on the doorstep for the discerning guest. The 2-bedroomed thatched rondavels represent the "Van Stadens" that everyone remembers. Furnishings are simple, but functional. Units are neat. Bedding, towels and dishcloths are not provided. Resort Rules & Guidelines:
This is a family-orientated resort and nature conservancy. We would like to make the stay pleasant for everyone. Bicycles are welcome. A shop operates over weekends and a peak times. Paddle-boats, canoes and dune-boards can be hired.
• No dogs allowed. (Sorry not even small ones!)
• NO LOUD music. NO INDECENT behaviour.
• NO FOUL LANGUAGE or VIOLENCE will be tolerated.
• Motor-propelled boats, windsurfers, quad-bikes & fireworks are NOT allowed
in The Resort.
• Please bring your own braai-grid. SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION:
There are 13 five-sleeper rondavels and 4 two-sleeper chalets. Buildings are old, but clean and well-maintained.
• Kitchens are equipped with: crockery, cutlery, fridge, stove, kettle & toaster.
• Each unit has its own braai area. Please bring your own braai grid.
• Please bring own bedding, towels & dishcloths - as these are not provided! CAMPING
All sites have power - (NB: BRING BLUE ELECTRICITY ADAPTOR!). The 9 ablution blocks are old but neat. Water is potable. Special Offers and Rates will be posted on our page. Look forward to seeing more of you!
