If you have stayed with us before you will recognise these surroundings. A fire that started on a farm near the Franschhoek Pass spread to our property yesterday afternoon 30/12/2024.

With the gale force winds the fire swept through at a rapid pace. Thanks to all the amazing hands on deck and the support of helicopters water bombing we saved all the pods with only a bit of minor damage to one of the new builds, and we lost around 1000 apple trees. The earth is scorched but everyone and buildings are safe 🙏

We’ve broken ground and have a frame up! Our two new units will be ready in 2025 and we can’t wait to have you stay 🌱
