The Way home Vredenburg Each unit has fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and 2 plate stove. Cooking utensils, Cutlery and crockery for 6 people. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Vredenburg is the business center of the West Coast, the central town of Cape Columbine, which is well known for the annual flower season which usually arrives six weeks after the first winter rains. This spectacular display lasts about a month during winter and there is a hotline to find out dates and areas for viewing. We have a recently built shopping mall just outside of the town on the way to

Saldanha. A New provincial as well as private hospital. Our Vredenburg self catering is within walking distance of the main Road where the schools, most large shops such as Pick and Pay, Checkers and Shoprite and all the banks. We do not have many restaurant options in Vredenburg but we are just a short drive from the many coastal attractions. Less than 15mins drive to Saldanha, Paternoster, Jacobs Bay about 20 mins drive to Veldrif ,where the Berg River goes out to sea, and also Langebaan where the lagoon is very popular. All these towns have a selection of restaurants and the shopping mall has the usual Spur, Wimpy etc. We are a short drive to the golf course and also the fossil park. Many outdoor activities such as bird watching and hiking as well as kayaking are within easy reach.
