River Lodge, Vredendal as borg , bedank Radio Namakwaland vir die geleentheid om deel te kon wees van vanjaar se tweede gholf kampioenskap toernooi wat aangebied is op die bane van Lutzville Gholfklub op Saterdag, 16 Maart, en die Vredendal Gholfklub op Saterdag, 13 Julie , 2019.

Baie geluk aan Bolla Brand en Karel Jakobs wat as die algehele Gholfkampioene vir 2019 , aangewys is.
Ons sien uit daarna om u in die hoedanigheid welkom te heet by River Lodge.

So kry ek 'n boodskap van 'n boervrou wat vra of ons nie haar kan help nie... Sy kan nie tans dit doen nie, want alle geld gaan in voer in... Maar haar tanne is uit as gevolg van Brucellose en sy wil net so graag weer tande hê, maar tans kom die boerdery eerste as gevolg van die droogte...

Ek stuur vir Pierre de Klerk van Gentle Dental in Vredendal 'n boodskap en vra kan ons nie iemand soek wat weer die vrou in haar kan terug bring nie, daai bietjie trots met 'n glimlag...

Binne 5 minute stuur Pierre vir my 'n boodskap terug: " Ons sal haar help"

My oë skiet toe sommer vol trane, want ons het so baie en al wat die boervrou soek is net 'n stel tande... Bel hulle sommer en sê dankie of maak jou afspraak al wil jy net gaan vir check up...

Dis nog nie klaar...

Nou moet sy in Vredendal kom wat 400 plus km ver is... Wel ek whatsapp paar pelle en vertel die goeie nuus, almal stem in om te help... R2500 se diesel sal een haar gee, een pel sê vir my maar sy moet iewers oornag, hy sal help en River Lodge Vredendal skenk die nag se verblyf gratis... Een pel laat weet my hy weet nie wat om te sê maar is bereid om R3000 se voucher te koop vir hulle waarmee sy kos vir die huis kan koop voor sy terug ry Sutherland toe... En net dadelik besef ek weer dit vat regtig net daai een sms of whatsapp wat ek moes stuur... The Knersvlakte is not really the sort of place you want to get lost in.
