We are located on the side of the village closer to the Wetland Reserve/ Vlei. There is secure parking on the premises. In the main house we have a comfortable guest room with a queen size bed, electric blanket during our chilly nights; a guest bathroom, and a second guest room with a double bed. The bathroom is located between our two guest rooms. Our accommodation is ideal for a couple, or a cou
ple sharing with another couple known to them, or for a friend or child. A hearty breakfast is served and you should try our extracted juices or smoothies! We’ll gladly prepare dinner on request, for the duration of your stay, these range from R145.00 to R180.00 per person for three courses. There are a few restaurants in town and we’ll assist in making reservations on your behalf. Should you stay in, after dinner you are welcome to enjoy the fire in our cosy lounge and to curl up with a book, or select a DVD to watch if you are so inclined. The wetland is in easy walking distance and we’ll pack a picnic basket if you decide to go out for the day and require some sustenance. We can arrange a bird guide through Birdlife, to enrich your birding experience and you may be fortunate to spot a family of otters. We are 27km from Volksrust which is the beginning of the Battlefields Route. What-ever your intention, we are sure you will leave feeling rested, re-charged and looking forward to a return visit to our quaint little town.
