The elegantly restored historic Manor House on Doolhof Wine Estate re-opened its doors in September 2009 as the first 5* Country House in Wellington. The 6 individually appointed and designed en-suite bedrooms and suites offer a high level of luxury and comfort. In addition, a free standing thatched cottage is available for honeymooners or guests seeking additional privacy. Situated in a beautiful

valley below the Bainskloof Pass, the Estate offers a wide variety of outdoor activities and is also an ideal base from which to explore the Cape. Spacious dining and entertainment areas, a large veranda and a 15 meter pool with a pamper spa ensure privacy and relaxation. Our resident chef caters for all meals from delicious homemade breakfasts to a three-course set dinner. Emphasising game and seafood, all ingredients are locally sourced and prepared in a Cape idiom. Doolhof’s award winning wines are available for tasting in the tasting room. Weddings and functions are catered for from 2 to 120 guests.
