Some mornings are worth setting an alarm for.

At The Orpen Kruger, near Orpen Gate, the day can start with a game drive and the anticipation of whatever appears around the next bend.

Back at the lodge, there is time for a swim, a drink at the bar, or an afternoon in a cool chalet. We like the slower hours, too. The ones spent over dinner, or sitting around the boma fire as the light fades.
