What a perfect day at Poynton's Cottage today! It's certainly starting to feel like summer. Most of December and January is booked, however there is still availability between 10 and 18 December. If you are wanting a pre-Christmas beachfront getaway email [email protected].

These North Coast winter days have been clear and warm. Perfect beach weather! We have had a cancellation for the last weekend of the school holidays, and therefore the cottage is available 13 - 16 July. An added bonus is that we are offering a special of R2600 per night. Looking for accommodation for the Springbok rugby test match at Kings Park on 24th September? Poynton's Cottage is available that weekend, as well as several other weekends in September and October. Reminder that we are a pet friendly establishment, so your dogs are welcome to join you on your weekend away. Dogs are allowed on the beach in front of the cottage.

🐋 Whale Season 🐋
August to November is whale-spotting season on the KZN North Coast. It's a great time to visit, and relax on the verandah and do some whale watching. They are often seen spouting, and sometimes breaching and lifting their tail flukes too. The August long weekend is available (Tuesday 9th August is a public holiday, and Monday 8th is a school holiday), so come and enjoy the warm sunny days that we have been experiencing at Westbrook beach through Winter. An added bonus is that our Winter special rate still applies to the end of August, including the public holiday weekend (R2100 per night). Email [email protected] for enquiries and bookings.

Did you know the cottage is in a secure, access controlled road? There is 24 hour security within the fenced community, making your beachfront holiday a safe one. Take advantage of the gorgeous KZN North Coast winter, with warm, sunny days, and cool evenings.
For the months of June, July and August, we are offering a special price of R2100 per night, including the school holidays (normal price is R3300). This price includes a daily housekeeper, so the whole family can have a proper holiday!
* The cottage sleeps 12 people, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
*Bedroom 1 - King bed and en suite bathroom
*Bedroom 2 - Queen bed and en suite bathroom
*Bedroom 3 - two single beds
*Bedroom 4 - two single beds
*Bedroom 5 - one double bed, two single beds
*Two separate family bathrooms
The cottage is located at Westbrook (10km from Ballito), on a quiet and secluded beach. The cottage is absolutely on the beach, with a path leading from the lawn onto the beach. It is in an access controlled area, with security fencing along the road and 24 hour security, and is therefore very safe. Poynton's Cottage is pet friendly, and small dogs are allowed by prior arrangement.
