This Youth Day, we celebrate the youth whose determination and resilience are helping shape a brighter future for their communities.

At Dulini, we are passionate about supporting initiatives that create opportunities and uplift lives. In this interview, we share the inspiring story of Nonhlahla Mkhonto, who grew up in a community bordering the reserve and, despite significant challenges, has excelled academically and continues to build a promising future.

She shares the impact that Dulini’s Project Dignity has had on her life. By providing access to essential menstrual health products, the initiative helps young women stay in school, complete their education, and pursue their dreams.

Nonhlahla is a powerful example of what can be achieved through perseverance, support, and access to opportunity. She has become a role model for young girls in her community, proving that circumstances do not define potential.

Today, we celebrate Nonhlahla and the many young people whose courage and determination continue to inspire the next generation.
