We are accidental gardeners, with a preference for plants that are fairly hardy or can self propagate. Lucky for us then that plants love living in our garden, like Billbergia pyramidalis, aka the ā€œFlaming Torchā€, which lights up our grounds from February to April, spectacularly captured during her visit by Nicky Newman Photography šŸ™

Ten years ago Sarah and Andrew exchanged vows on our riverside deck and hobeymooned in Treetops, and then returned a year later to celebrate their first anniversary in the Boathouseā€¦ Last week they returned to renew their vows on the same deck, this time in the presence of Harrison, their 7-year-old son!

Itā€™s been a privilege for us witness their joyful union. Thank you Sarah and Andrew for returning, for sharing and celebrating these wonderful milestones here! And thank you to all our guests who arrive and, however temporary, share their lifeā€™s journey with such joy and generosity šŸ™
