ADIOS TO XANADU GUEST VILLA

✨ After 20 wonderful years of running Xanadu Guest Villa, we sold the property on 1 September 2024. The new owner, Thorsten Bednarz, continues to welcome guests under the name Seasense Boutique Beachvilla.

We’ve moved just across the road to Stay Wilderness (44 Die Duin, Wilderness) — a self-catering property with 5 rooms. Whenever you’re in the area, you’re more than welcome to pop in and say hello. 🌊🏡 www.staywilderness.co.za

Leentjiesklip is a portion of Wilderness Beach and is situated at the far western corner of Wilderness beach. The Wilderness Beach itself stretches from Kleinkrans to the mouth of the Kaaimans River estuary.

Leentjiesklip and Leentjiesklip Beach are easily accessed from the N2. From Wilderness Village, turn into Station Road and again right into Sands Road. When you reach the beach you will find limited parking, clean ablutions facilities, sand-off foot shower and a braai (barbeque) and picnic area.

The Leentjiesklip area is popular with for sunbathing, fishing, whale watching, birding and it also serves as a landing strip for hang-gliders and para-gliders.

During the whale season, this beach is a good choice for whale and dolphin spotting. From Leentjiesklip it is not uncommon see whale pods of seven or more individuals. For an even better whale watching opportunity you can walk or drive up to Dolphin’s Point. From this elevated vantage point you will be treated to a grand view of the Wilderness and Wilderness lakes area.
