BREEDE RIVER: ONE OF HESSEQUA'S 7 NATURAL MARVELS - This river stretch over 322-km from the Ceres area in the Cape Winelands to the river mouth in the Witsand area along the Garden Route.

Cob, Carp, Grunter and Catfish are regularly caught in the Breede River. The Breede River Redfin - a small to medium sized riverine fish - is a rare species found within this river.

The river and mouth is popular for Kitesurfing, Angling, Canoeing & Stand-Up Paddle Boarding.
