"TOURISM MONTH - The Anchorage Beach Restaurant & Bar is located on the edge of the beachfront in Witsand and is the ideal beachfront restaurant and bar all-year round.

The restaurant is famous for its mouthwatering seafood, ice cold drinks and excellent service. The restaurant also has a rooftop bar which offers you the best view of the Indian Ocean. The rooftop bar is also ideal as a viewing point for Whale Watching between June to November, when these gentle giants migrate to the warmer waters of Witsand to calf and care for their young.

The Anchorage Beach Restaurant & Bar regularly accommodates group functions like birthdays and anniversaries and also hosts special events like their annual Colour Run.

This view is a whole vibe! 😍 If you know Witsand, you'll know exactly what we're talking about. Walking or driving across the hill and seeing the beach, Infanta and Anchorage... it is priceless! 🐚🐳🦀🐬🐡🐙 It gives you life.

You breathe in the sea air, you already feel the sand between your toes, you smell the sunscreen, you taste the fresh fish and chips you'll have for lunch, or the ice cold ice lollie that will drip sticky drops all over you. And then later, sunburnt and happy, you'll tackle the uphill in the summer heat as you start walking home, beach towel over shoulder. Maybe you'll stop at Nella se Winkel for some sweets and chips on way home. There's no rush.
