Many people think our *biological clock and circadian rhythm* are the same thing - but they're not.
Although they are *closely linked* , they each *play a different role* in our health.
Think of your *biological clock as your body's internal watch* . It keeps track of the time of day and coordinates your body's internal processes.
Your *circadian rhythm is your body's daily schedule* - the natural 24-hour cycle that determines when you feel awake or sleepy, when hormones are released, when digestion is most active, when your body repairs itself, and when it's time to rest.
*When this rhythm becomes disrupted, it can affect far more than just our sleep* . It can influence our energy levels, mood, mental clarity, immune function, metabolism, stress response, and overall well-being.
Take a moment to ask yourself:
• Do you struggle to establish or maintain a healthy daily routine?
• Do you find it difficult to say "no", often leaving yourself feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or constantly on the go?
• Is your sleep frequently interrupted, or do you wake feeling tired despite a full night's rest?
• Do you feel as though you're always stuck in fight-or-flight, finding it difficult to truly relax and unwind?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this Monday's Zoom meeting is for you.
Join us as we explore the importance of a healthy daily rhythm - why our biological clock matters, the body systems that are affected when it becomes disrupted, and practical lifestyle steps that can help reset and restore balance.
We'll also discuss how AIM's whole-food nutrition can support the body's natural rhythms and overall health.
Whether you're looking to improve your sleep, regain your energy, manage stress more effectively, or simply understand how your body is designed to function, we know you'll come away with practical insights you can begin applying straight away.
We look forward to seeing you there as we learn, share, and continue supporting one another on our journey to better health.
