Heritage Day falls on a Thursday this year – so why not take the Friday off and head into the bush for three nights?

At Mosetlha, you’ll spend the long weekend surrounded by the sights and sounds of the South African bush, with two daily safari drives, time to slow down around the campfire, and good, traditional South African food – meals that are as much a part of the experience as the wildlife.

"A wonderful place and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and does everything to make you feel welcome... they can charge devices for you so you can take enough photos during the game drives... Our daughter of 10 found it a great adventure... Because the camp is not fenced, water buffalo walk through the camp at night and brown hyenas have also been spotted, without this causing a feeling of insecurity."
