Tapologo Lodge Tapologo Lodge is an guest lodge situated 2km outside Zeerust town in the North West Province. There is also a 10 seat board room facility for smaller meetings.

Facilities includes Accommodation 19 chalets, Restaurant, Conference facility, Lounge, Swimming Pool and children's playground. Tapologo Lodge is situated on the N4 Platinum Highway, 2 km before Zeerust town in the North West Province. This is the ideal place for an overnight stop when heading to either Botswana or Namibia, or even a weekend to relax and get away from the rush of the city. This we

ll established guest lodge is situated on one hectare of land and offers 18 chalets and one Suite that sleep 38 guests in total. There is a restaurant with a full ala carte menu that caters for both overnight guest and the public. The swimming pool have a bar inside the pool and a patio bar next to the pool with plenty of braai facilities. Corporate companies can make use of our conference venue that accommodates up to 100 delegates. Facilities

Good morning everyone, (Ania Van Der Walt)

Just a quick update. Today we will continue working in Jacaranda Avenue using recycled hot asphalt (hot mix). Yesterday alone, we used approximately 1 ton of hot asphalt in Jacaranda Avenue.

As far as finances are concerned, can you believe that we have already raised R42,000! With that money, we purchased R42,000 worth of cold asphalt (550 bags). There are still 130 bags of asphalt in our yard, and Johan will be collecting another 200 bags on Thursday. So far, we have already used 220 bags of asphalt.

A big thank you to everyone who has already done their part:

• Hennie Naudé used 150 bags in Smook Street.• Ivan Kleynhans used 70 bags in Mooi Street.• Danèl and Koeka Le Grange, Deon and Christo Kotzé, as well as Uncle Willie Smit, worked with the recycled hot asphalt.• Boela Fourie and Japie Etsebeth will continue working with the cold asphalt on Wednesday.• Hopefully, Afriforum Zeerust will also be able to assist us further over the weekend.

I am truly proud of what this community has achieved in such a short time. The hot asphalt is free. We collect it from the roadside, but it takes a great deal of hard work and manpower to put it to use.

What makes me most proud is that ordinary tax-paying residents are not just complaining about the condition of our roads, but are rolling up their sleeves and doing something about it. This project shows what is possible when a community stands together.

I believe our neighbourhood will soon look much better once all these potholes have been repaired.
