If you’re looking for a weekend full of sun, relaxation, birding, fishing and just reconnecting with nature, the Ecabazini Zulu Village is the place for you!
The dam is finally on the rise, and is now over 50% full! This seems to have brought some awesome birds around - a few weeks ago we saw a European Roller, and on Monday we saw (and heard) heaps of Fish Eagles, as well as crowned cranes and plenty more! 🦅
The long weekend coming up, as well as Easter weekend is the perfect opportunity for your weekend away! ☀️

Hi everyone, some good news - the Umgeni river is finally flowing strongly and thankfully the Albert Falls dam is filling up. Went down to the waters edge and was amazed by the abundant birdlife - fish eagles above, cormorants, giant herons and literally hundreds of Egyptian geese. For the first time ever saw a European roller at Ecabazini.
So, for those wanting to escape the urban rat race for tranquility and peace on an African farm on the edge of Albert Falls dam, Ecabazini Zulu Village is the perfect place, and we wait to welcome you.
Please message us for more information.
