Kafue National Park

It’s not about what you see — it’s about how you see itPeople often describe a safari in terms of what they saw: lions, elephants, leopards, wild dogs. It’s a natural instinct — wildlife is, after all, the draw. But Zambia’s enduring wildness has very little to do with ticking species of...

The wait is over… tomorrow we welcome our very first guests of the season to Musekese Camp!

After a truly splendid rainy season, the Kafue is looking nothing short of magical. The grass stands lush and green, the pools are brimming with life, and the river is flowing strong and full — just as it should be at this time of year

From extinction… to a second chance.

Zambia lost its black rhino in the 1990s. Today, they’re back—fragile, protected, and a powerful symbol of what conservation can achieve.

A short story of loss, resilience, and hope.

North Luangwa Conservation Project

A Once-Thriving PopulationHistorically, Zambia was one of Africa’s most important strongholds for the black rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis). It’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed by the number of media channels and platforms out there these days — but conversations like this remind us why they’re worthwhile.

We really enjoyed sitting down with Jason from Adventure Life for this podcast, where he chats with our co-founder Tyrone McKeith about the journey behind Classic Zambia Safaris. From how it all began, to stories from the bush, to a few lesser-known insights about our camps and backgrounds, it turned into a thoughtful and genuinely enjoyable conversation.

If you’d like to learn a bit more about who we are and what drives us, we hope you’ll enjoy listening.

And of course, the real story is best experienced in person — we look forward to welcoming you to our special corners of Zambia one day… or back again for those who have already joined us.

In this episode of the Adventure Life Travel Show, Jason chats with Tyrone McKeith, co-founder of Classic Zambia, about why Zambia might be Africa’s best-kep...

We were thrilled to see Musekese Conservation featured in the latest episode of the BBC Travel Show, part of a two-part Zambia special — with the second episode focusing on the remarkable wilderness of Kafue National Park.

A big mention to presenter Dwayne Fields (FRGS), who did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. It’s not his first time filming in Zambia, and he approaches the country, its landscapes and its people with genuine humility.

What comes across so well is the spirit of Zambia — its wildlife, its wild places, and above all the warmth and knowledge of Zambians themselves.

It’s always encouraging to see platforms like the BBC showcasing places like Kafue and the conservation work happening there. Exposure like this plays an important role in sharing the value of Zambia’s wild spaces with the world.

Well worth a watch if you haven’t seen it yet.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
