🎄𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 & 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩,
As the Zambezi flows gently past our camps and the late afternoon light softens over the river, we take a quiet moment to reflect on the year coming to an end – and on you, our guests, who make this place so special.
𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐳𝐢 follows its own rhythm. The bush is lush and alive, birdlife is abundant, and life along the river moves to a natural, unhurried pace. Elephants come down to drink at sunset, hippos call through the night, and mornings begin with the unmistakable cry of the fish eagle.
The green season brings a truly special atmosphere to this part of Zambia: intimate, peaceful and wonderfully wild. Fewer visitors, more space – and time to slow down, observe and simply be present in nature. This is exactly what Muchichili House and Wood Camp are about: small-scale hospitality, tranquillity and a deep connection to the environment around us.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who stayed with us this past year, and to those who continue to follow, recommend and support us. For us, hospitality is more than a stay; it is about sharing a place we truly love.

And who knows… perhaps we will welcome you back to the banks of the Zambezi in 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
