Pioneer is an ideal place to stay if you need to be near Lusaka but don't want to be in it! We offer 10 individual, thatched chalets, 2 Pioneer Tents and a 2 bed roomed cottage each set within our 25 acres of miombo woodland. You can safely walk around the property, which is great for birding too. All of the miombo chalets are en-suite and have veranda’s with lovely woodland views and are very pri

vate, the safari chalets are also to the same specification but smaller whilst the Pioneer Tents are for those travelling on more of a budget and use shared facilities. Only 14 kms (30 mins) from the Airport or shopping centres, Pioneer is an ideal stop over if you need a nights rest during transit through Zambia. Its the ideal place to be if you need to be near Lusaka but don’t want to be in it.
