Incorporated in May 2014 the business adopted the name Purview Lodges limited. More oftenthan one could blink an eye, guests, patrons and passersby do wonder and ask ‘what was theinspiration for the name Purview’?Well looking at the dictionary meaning of Purview one will land on the following more often thanothers:1.The extent or range of function, power or competence;2.Range of vision, comprehens
ion or experience, and;3.As in law, the body, scope or limit of a statute.It is imperative to note that at Purview it is the guest who comes first and so it was in theestablishment of the name. We stepped into the shoes of the guest.... and sought to give him/heran experience that will lack in nothing. Our goal is to offer our guests a complete world within theproximity of their vision. Purview therefore embodies our vision statement in seeking to redefinethe meaning of hospitality by offering our clients a chance to detox from the rest of the world.If you guessed the second dictionary meaning then you are right. For you are,without a doubt getting into the Purview flavour.Others have pondered and ask the question ‘but why lodges’? Well again our names and ourvision are so close they are actually intertwined. However note should be had, that we alreadyhave the main premises at plot 1404 St. Ambrose road the three additional rooms at a separateproperty within Kafue. Albeit in Kafue we offer the same services from two locations. (I guess thisgives us leverage for pluralism).In all fairness some people are never short of asking questions for I promise you that some yet ask‘what’s the limited for’? With chagrin, the response is simply that we incorporated and therefore,mandated by law to warn whomsoever would like to deal with us especially the creditors of allsorts that our liability is indeed limited to the extent of our unpaid share contribution.When it’s all said and done we are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen.
