The Enterprise opened with 24 rooms and 4 years later it has a total of 80 rooms spread out over Kapiri Mposhi, Lusaka (under expansion ), Mumbwa District and opening soon is Nangoma Safari Lodge at prospects in kabwe.
We opened Nangoma Safari Lodge in May 2021 , it was undoubtedly a birthplace for the business and is proof of us being the forerunner in accommodation in Nangoma. Mumbwa District.
We are seeking experienced and dedicated hospitality professionals to fill the following vacancies. The ideal candidates will be all-rounder with strong attention to detail and time management skills, capable of managing varied responsibilities across different departments. And Potentially assist with general errands, manage supplies for all areas, and work effectively as part of a collaborative team to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
Position Key Responsibilities Requirements & Skills Qualifications
Chefs (3) Plan menus; prepare and present high-quality dishes; oversee food preparation; manage inventory and supplies; maintain high health and safety standards in the kitchen. Proven experience in a culinary role; strong leadership and communication skills; in-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Drivers’ license an advantage
Computer literacy a plus o Minimum certificate in Food Production
o Certificate in Commercial Cookery or a related culinary qualification (desirable).
o Proven experience in a commercial kitchen environment (minimum 3 years
o Strong leadership, creativity, and ability to work well under pressure.
Position Key Responsibilities Requirements & Skills Qualifications
Receptionist(1) Greet and check-in/out guests; manage reservations and phone calls; process payments; address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Excellent customer service and communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proficiency with reservation systems; ability to multitask.
Drivers’ license an advantage
Computer literacy a plus o Certificate Front Office & Housekeeping minimum requirement)
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, booking systems/PMS experience a plus).
o Professional demeanor and a positive, customer-service attitude.
Bar Tender(2) Prepare and serve beverages; greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere; handle cash and card payments; maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area. Experience in a bar or hospitality setting; strong interpersonal skills; physical stamina; attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Drivers’ license not a must but an advantage
o Certificate Food & Beverage Management
o Knowledge of mixology and drink recipes.
o Strong communication and physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and lift items up
o Computer literacy a plus
Position Key Responsibilities Requirements & Skills Qualifications
Security Guard(2) Ensure the safety and security of the premises, guests, and staff; monitor surveillance equipment; patrol the property; respond to emergencies and report incidents. Knowledge of security protocols; ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment; exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to react appropriately in stressful situations.
o Grade Twelve Certificate
o Proven security guard training
o Proven work experience in a security role
o Strong observational skills and physical fitness.
o Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
o Computer literacy a plus
Housekeeper(1) Clean and reset guest rooms and common areas; change linens and make beds; restock amenities; report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items. Physical stamina and mobility; attention to detail; reliability and trustworthiness; ability to work independently and follow strict cleaning procedures. o Certificate Front Office & Housekeeping or Certificate in General hospitality
o Prior experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role (preferred).
o Thoroughness and attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
o Physical stamina and the ability to work shifts.
