We are just outside Solwezi, north western Zambia. Kansanshi Hotel is a luxurious eco-friendly thatched hotel located on the beautiful edge of Solwezi, north-western Zambia, offering guests a friendly African experience and panoramic views. The Lappa is ideal for all kinds of functions – from workshops, meetings and conferences to weddings and parties. Measuring 40 by 20 meters, it is the largest

timber structure in Southern Africa. The Lappa houses three meeting rooms (250, 150, and 30 delegates), a large restaurant, bar and lounge, and the deck running the whole length of the building. Marquees can be set up for garden parties, and open-air celebrations can be held around the swimming pool. Our chefs offer an international à la carte cuisine and menus tailored to banquets, parties and weddings. Kansanshi Hotel has 34 rooms:
12 standard and 12 duplex thatched bedrooms
6 executive suites, with their individual colour schemes
4 self-catering villas: each one has two en suite bedrooms, a lounge and a kitchen. Internet and DSTV in rooms. Room service, laundry service. Safe parking in our fenced grounds with security guards. Airport transfers (Solwezi airport is about a 20 minute drive from the hotel). Please email us for a quotation for hosting large events, weddings or parties. Long term accommodation rates are available upon request
