Stunning setting overlooking the Gache Gache River, all 10 chalets have a nice view. Big game wildlife area. Good Bream fishing! Exceptional Birding & incredible sunsets. Don't forget your camera! Our campsite is 2km from the lodge amongst lovely trees, all very natural. Great ablutions. We have our own, excellent airstrip 2km from the lodge, should you choose to private charter to us. Alternatively, come across by speedboat or drive around in a 4x4.

The campsite is available though. Come completely self-sufficient. Check in at the lodge first. $10/adult and half price for 12yrs and under.

The rain was pouring down outside O'Connor's Irish Pub. There
standing in front of a big puddle outside the pub was an old Irishman,
drenched, holding a stick, with a piece of string dangling in the
water.

A passer-by stopped and asked him, "What are you doing?

“Fishing” , replied the old man.

Feeling sorry for the old man, the gent says,
“Come in out of the rain and have a drink with me.”

In the warm ambiance of the pub, as they sip their whiskies, the
gentleman, being a bit of a superior smart ass, cannot resist asking,
"So how many have you caught today?”

"You're the 8th", replied the old man.

We are still closed due to the low lake level and no water in the Gache Gache River in front of the lodge making it impossible to pump water for ablutions etc. Sadly... if you have inquiries, please WhatsApp me on +263772264159. Easier to access than messaging on the fb page. Thank you.
