Hornbill is an intimate boutique lodge with panoramic views of Lake Kariba. Hornbill offers beautiful accommodation in Kariba town situated at the top of Mica Point, above the shores of Lake Kariba. It is a wonderful place to soak up the panoramic views of the Lake and relax under the shade of the indigenous trees in the lush garden. Sit back and enjoy the sunrise over the Lake Kariba from the comfort of your bed! Small and intimate, the Lodge offers very comfortable accommodation for a maximum of 13 people in five individual rooms. A large chalet houses the bar, lounge and dining area. Situated just 3km from the Zambian border, 20 minutes from the Kariba Airport and just a short drive to most harbours Hornbill Lodge is the perfect overnight stop.

Zebra visiting us again, they gather by the gate patiently waiting to be let in. When they have finished grazing on our lawn they gather by the gate to be let out. Sometimes they bed down for the night in the garden. Happy to be their safe space! 🦓🦓
