Whether you’re a seasoned gem hunter or a total beginner, our tours are an unforgettable outback experience. Located just 148km from Alice Springs on the Plenty Highway, we give you the chance to dig up your own beautiful pieces of Central Australia!

Here is what you need to know:
🔴 Garnets & Zircons: Search for rich, deep red garnets (often mistaken for rubies!) or dazzling zircons. The chance of finding a keeper is VERY high!

🚗 Tag-Along Adventure: You drive your own vehicle out to the gemfields (Zircons are only 18km away, Garnets are 30km away).

🛠️ Everything is Provided: Your tour includes all the necessary fossicking equipment (picks, shovels, sieves, and water), plus an experienced guide to show you exactly how and where to find the good stuff!

💎 Expert Appraisal Included: Once you've collected your loot, head back to the Gemtree gem room where our team will sort, grade, and appraise your stones so you know exactly what you’ve found! You can even choose to have your best gems professionally cut and set into beautiful, custom jewellery.
