Can’t believe it’s been four years since the last big day, so it’s time!!
Looking forward to Open Day “Take Five”, at
“The Old Honeysuckle Inn”, on Sunday 29th November 2026.

Great Music is guaranteed with the wonderful Frock n Troll playing with Gabi Forman & The Wayward Pilgrims.
FREE ENTRY- Good Food and Hot Refreshments will be available as usual.
All funds raised will again go to the Bega Branch of Can Assist, our local support group offering financial assistance to locals who are undergoing treatment for Cancer.

An impromptu hosting, due to the unanticipated, but very welcome rain this long weekend, saw the Smith Cousins Reunion held at “The Old Honeysuckle Inn”!
It was lovely to meet these Cousins and others who missed this photo!!

The Old Honeysuckle Inn hosted another Celebration on the 2nd May 2026! A very special Gathering of Family for my Aunty Roma Whitby, who is turning 80 years young!
What a marvel she is!! 🎂 ❤️

Another lovely day at Honeysuckle, reminiscing with Jan Ledger (née Cunningham) and eldest Son Mark. Much laughter and some tears were had over Tea and Scones with the finest china!

The Old Honeysuckle Inn was honoured to be chosen by Chris and Jess as their place to be married on Friday 1st November 2024.
History repeating, but a long time has passed since the last known Wedding in 1866, here at this special place!

It’s a grey day at Honeysuckle after a run of gorgeous Autumn weather, but it’s Cosy and warm inside The Old Honeysuckle Inn!!
I was hopeful from my post last week, that I would find a photo of the Original Inn pre 1940’s, but it’s not looking very likely that one even exists! 😔
However, I would still love to offer someone with a Heritage connection, the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary two night stay at The Old Honeysuckle Inn!

This offer is available to two people for a two night stay to be arranged with the recipients once chosen.

Hello to all lovely followers of The Old Honeysuckle Inn!
The past few years have seen tough times for many and rather than being a holiday destination, the Honeysuckle Inn has been home to those needing a more permanent place to stay.
However, there is a window of opportunity to offer a two-night complimentary stay to someone with a Heritage connection to The Old Honeysuckle Inn! This offer comes with a challenge to the first person who can provide a Photo of the original Honeysuckle Inn, pre 1940's.
This is an opportunity for one or two people to connect with the place of their Ancestors and experience the peace, quiet and privacy of this lovingly restored home. Excited to hear from that person!

Another great day at Honeysuckle last Sunday 16th October saw funds raised of over $1,300 for Can Assist! A huge thank you to all who helped out on the day and to the Bermagui Ukalips and Frock n Troll for the great Music! The weather was kind once again and a light shower in the afternoon didn’t matter at all. Thank you to those who came from near and far, the biggest effort being from Queanbeyan especially for the event!
It’s wonderful to have received such positive feedback of how visitors so enjoy just being at Honeysuckle! A special place indeed!
We look forward to the next one!!
