🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED 🚨

We have been generously offered a brand new shed located in Clyde North for MRP — an incredible opportunity for our community! 🏗️

The shed now needs to be dismantled and relocated to Mafeking, and we’re looking for experienced volunteers and equipment support to help make it happen.

We are currently seeking:
🔨 Builder
🏗️ Crane / EWP / Telehandler + qualified operators
đźš› Trucks for transport

If you or someone you know may be able to assist, please inbox us directly as soon as possible or call us on 03) 9111 0030

⏳ We have a very short window to remove and relocate the shed (just under 3 weeks).

Every bit of help makes a huge difference — thank you for supporting Mafeking Rover Park and our rebuilding efforts 🧡

Another eventful weekend at Mafeking Rover Park as working bees are underway to prepare the site for Mafeking Open Day!

A big thank you to those who were able to give up their time to help us clear some fence lines. The weekend crew were able to smash out quite a bit of work before the storm hit on Sunday.

We also saw the return of a couple old residents who seemed a bit reluctant to leave their comfortable van! A special mention to Murrindindi Ranges Wildlife Shelter Inc. for all their hard work in caring for many of the affected wildlife in the park and surrounding area.

Keen to lend a hand at our upcoming working bees? We’d love to hear from you! Fill out the form below, and if your skills and experience align with what we need, we’ll be in touch.

A quick Monday update from Mafeking Rover Park ⚜️

Recovery is well underway, and we’re excited to share some great progress! Tree works have now been completed, and our Operations Patrol has successfully installed a brand new front gate.

As we move into the next phase of cleanup and recovery, we’ll be hosting a number of invitation-only working bees.

If you’re keen to lend a hand, we’d love to hear from you—register your interest via the help form below:

Thank you to Michele D’Alberto and family for their generous donation of a 22,500L water tank to Mafeking Rover Park.

This will help us reinstate water to the Police Scouters Building once we’re able to return onsite.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support. 💚
