What started with wine, good conversation and canapés quickly turned into something a little unexpected — a silent disco in the middle of the Highlands (yes, really) with

There was a moment of hesitation… and then suddenly, everyone was dancing like no one was watching.

We then eased back into the afternoon with a beautiful talk from Rebecca, sharing her movie filmed at Hollow Tree and upcoming projects, followed by a delicious lamb ragù and a dessert that perfectly closed the day.

Off-season? Maybe.
Quiet? Never.

Introducing the EWEGLOW Tour — a guided night walk through Rathmore with Dr Lisa Gershwin.
Under low-power UV torches, the Tasmanian bush transforms. Colours ignite across rocks, bark, plants, fungi, lichens and even wildlife, revealing a world that is normally hidden from our eyes.
It looks like AI. But it’s absolutely real.
Dr Lisa brings the lights, science and stories, guiding you through the Highlands after dark while also helping you capture what you discover on your smartphone or DSLR.
We’ll take our time, stopping for photography tips, discoveries and those quiet moments when you simply have to stand back and say, “Wow.”
And if the sky is feeling particularly generous, occasionally the aurora might add another little bit of Tasmanian magic. 🌌

Fire outside, sunset rolling in… 🍂🔥
There’s no real plan to it — just pulling up a chair, watching the light change, and letting the evening unfold.
