If you’ve driven past Maclean and haven’t pulled into the Maclean Lookout… are you even travelling right?

Just 2 km from town, the lookout gives you the full Clarence Valley picture. The massive (but small-looking from up there) Harwood bridges, the river, cane fields, islands and the coastline all laid out below.

And when it’s time to call it a day, make Maclean your base. Waterview Motel is just a short drive from the lookout, right across from the Clarence River, with rooms, a pool and easy access to town.
