More accessible seating options at Midway Point Tavern!

For many local seniors, a visit to Midway Point Tavern is one of the highlights of their week. It’s a place to catch up with friends, enjoy a meal, and stay connected with the community.

I recently spoke to a senior resident who was finding it difficult to get out of the standard chairs. They suggested having a chair with flat armrests that would make it easier and safer to stand up.

After I put out a call out on Facebook and a volunteer making a quick trip to Sandy Bay, Midway Point Tavern now has a more accessible chair available for anyone who needs it.

A simple chair can help someone continue enjoying a place they love with greater comfort, confidence, and independence.

A big thank you to Midway Point Tavern for making our local venues more accessible.
