It rained this afternoon, not a passing shower but the kind that works its way into the soil and shifts the tone of everything around it. By this evening the air felt cleaner, the sounds sharper and the mood lighter. On the first day of autumn, the farm has exhaled and so have we.

It’s no surprise that autumn is our favourite time of year here at Dunmore. It arrives quietly and makes itself at home with ease. Cooler mornings. Warm days, (just without the bite), softer light across the valley and evenings that draw you outside before easing into night. It’s the season that invites us to slow, to gather with intention and to restore without effort.

Our autumn stays are now open, including select dates across the Easter school holidays.
