11 years ago today, we took a leap of faith and became the proud owners of The Lazy Lizard. 🦎
(This photo was taken not long after we began the adventure... smiling, excited and blissfully unaware of just how much we were about to learn!) 😄
Since then, we've had the privilege of welcoming thousands of guests from around the world, making lifelong friendships and creating a business we're incredibly proud of.
It hasn't always been easy. There have been cyclones, floods, a global pandemic, countless maintenance jobs, plenty of early mornings, late nights and more than a few "what do we do now?" moments.
But there have also been countless laughs, wonderful guests and the satisfaction of creating a place where people can truly relax.
Over the years, our goal has remained simple: to provide a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay, where guests know exactly what to expect and can simply enjoy their holiday.
To everyone who has stayed with us, supported us, recommended us or simply stopped by for a chat—thank you. You have all been part of The Lazy Lizard story.
Here's to the next years... and maybe just a little therapy along the way! 😄🌴
