🏆 FRIDAY SOCIAL GOLF RESULTS🏆

What a cracker.

We had 14 players hit the course, including 2 visitors and the weather was absolutely PERFECT for a bit of golf, a few laughs.

🥇 1st – Lee-Ann Coleman
🥈 2nd – Simon Allinson
🥉 3rd – David Coleman
🎯 NTP – Brian Garland

There was also some wonderful news to celebrate yesterday, with one of our golfing families receiving the fantastic news that they have been given the all-clear from cancer. ❤️
No better reason for a few extra smiles, a celebratory drink and some happy conversations around the fire. 🔥

And because golf is always better when there’s something tasty waiting afterwards… 😋

We finished the afternoon around the fire-pit with drinks, good company, yummy cheese & biscuits and Jo’s famous, absolutely delicious cob loaf🔥🧀🥖

A perfect way to finish off a perfect day at the Proston golf club. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who came along, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and come back for another round!

**A little update from the
Proston Golf Club 💚**

Unfortunately, due to a previous injury catching up with our wonderful cook Ange, we've had to make the difficult decision to close the kitchen for the time being.

This means the **19th Hole Restaurant will be closed until further notice.**

We're incredibly grateful to Ange for the delicious meals, hard work and enthusiasm she brought to our kitchen. I'm sure many of you will agree she's fed plenty of happy golfers and locals over the past few months, and we thank her sincerely for everything she's done. We wish her all the very best and hope she can focus on getting herself back on track. ❤️

But... the club is still very much open! 🍻⛳

We'd love our wonderful community to continue rallying behind the club by popping out for a **social game of golf**, bringing your mates along for a hit, or simply dropping in for a **cold drink and a chat**. The friendships and support around this little club are what keep it ticking.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support — we're looking forward to brighter days ahead and hopefully welcoming everyone back to the 19th Hole kitchen again in the future.
