🔨 A little reception refresh is underway at Pete’s Place!

For those who don’t know me, I’m Taylah, the manager here at Pete’s Place… and I’m also a sucker for a good ol’ DIY project.

I’m basically the girl with all the tools, a vision… and just enough of an idea to somewhat execute my vision. If there’s not already a project (or 2) on the go, you can guarantee I’m thinking about what’s next on the hit list!

Our reception has been in desperate need of a bit of love, so I’ve slowly started giving it a makeover, keeping it as budget-savvy as possible and reusing materials we already have on site wherever I can. With the exception of some paint!

So far I’ve sanded, primed and painted the front of the reception desk and the existing baseboards, painted one of the four walls (it’s a slow process), pulled down the old brochure holder and built new ones, removed the old “ring for service” sign and made a fresh one with my Cricut.

And yes… if you can spot the missing baseboard, it’s currently off getting a little facelift. 😂

There’s still plenty more I want to do, but it’s already starting to feel so much fresher!
