Today, October 15, we celebrate the incredible women who keep rural Australia ticking!

From farmers and station hands to mums, teachers, business owners, volunteers and everyone in between, rural women wear more hats than a country show hat stall! 😂

International Rural Women’s Day recognises the enormous contribution women make to agriculture, food production, families and rural communities.

It’s about celebrating their strength, resilience, hard work and the challenges that come with living and working in the bush.

Because behind every thriving rural community, you’ll find some bloody amazing women getting things done! ❤️

Being long weekend, with lots of visitors to the area, it's a great time to remind visitors to Goat Rock, that EVERYONE is required to check in via the Information Stand or the office at The Shed. This is essential for our Insurance and Biosecurity.
Unless you are attending a function or Cafe at The Shed, DAY VISIT fees apply to EVERYONE!! The amount of people who think its ok to just drive around someones property is unbelievable.
Signage instructing people to pay their fees etc is very noticeable.

🔸️Registration forms are required for every vehicle - campers and day visits (unless attending The Shed)
🔸️Fees are payable via cash or QR code (unless attending The Shed)
🔸️Notification of presence on property (call/text)
