Victoria Day Holiday Monday at Jones Falls.

Today the Kawartha Voyager passed through - its one of those moments that reminds you boating season is here.

Tomorrow, our Kenney Food Hub will be open for Victoria Day Holiday Monday serving ice cream, hot food, baked goods and casual long weekend favorites by the water.

If you're out for the holiday, stop by and take in the canal.

Dinner has started for the season at Hotel Kenney Rideau.

We are easing in with a small Spring Preview menu — warm focaccia, baked spinach & artichoke dip, Kenney nachos, drinks by the water, and limited dinner features as the season builds.

It is still early spring at Jones Falls, but the lights are on, the kitchen is warming up, and we are getting ready for the full summer rhythm ahead.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings 5-8pm
Small Spring Preview menu

Sunday Brunch Buffet
Sunday, 10am–2pm
$36.95 per adult | $20 for children 12 & under

We’re hiring for the 2026 season at Hotel Kenney Rideau.

As we begin opening April 30 and gradually roll out more of the season ahead, we are building our team across several parts of the property — including patio service, dining, dockage, food hub operations, and baking across both NutFree Gourmet Bakeshop and the hotel program.

We are currently hiring for:

• Kenney Food Hub Crew
• Guest Experience Crew
• Service Team
• Housekeeping & Property Care
• Kitchen Support – Prep Cook / Dishwasher
• Baker – NutFree Gourmet Bakeshop & Hotel Program

We’re looking for capable, hands-on people who work well in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and care about strong standards, cleanliness, and guest experience.
