As our regular dining and hospitality season wraps up at Hotel Kenney Rideau, our focus shifts to another part of what we do — NutFree Gourmet!

From its earlier home at Unionville's historic Planing Mill, we brought NutFree Gourmet along with us to Jones Falls.

Fall is always a busy time for cookie dough production as the annual school and community fundraising season gets underway. NutFree Gourmet's 2026 Fundraising Program has officially kicked off!

Meanwhile, things continue at Hotel Kenney with private gatherings, celebrations and holiday parties, along with our Festive Christmas Dinner To Go on Christmas Day to round out the year.

One season rolls into another — with lots happening behind the scenes!

NutFree Gourmet Fundraising is now open for the 2026 season.

For schools, teams and community organizations looking for a fundraiser built around a quality product families will actually enjoy, our 2026 Cookie Dough Fundraising Program is now available.

Six classic flavours. Real butter — never margarine or oils. Real, recognizable ingredients. Nut-free recipes.

Participating organizations would purchase at our fundraising price, choose their own selling price and keep teh difference to support their fundraising initiative.

We have our fundraising resources for 2026 on our website including English and French program information and order forms.

And coming this season: Cookie Dough School - a collection of short baking tips, videos and creative ideas for kids and families. This will be available as an added resource at no additional cost.

Nut-free Gourmet Cookie Dough has been serving school and group fundraisers for many years, including as a TDSB fundraising vendor for the past six years. We are looking forward to another busy season.

Autumn at Jones Falls — Just in Time for Thanksgiving!

The fall colours are looking spectacular here at Jones Falls!

With the trees turning beautiful shades of gold, orange and red, it's a wonderful time to explore the historic locks, wooded walking paths and scenic surroundings along the Rideau Canal here at Jones Falls.

For those joining us at Hotel Kenney Rideau for Thanksgiving Sunday Brunch or Dinner, we encourage you to make a stroll through Jones Falls as part of your visit.

Arrive a little early, or stay a little longer. Take your time exploring the locks, enjoy the autumn scenery and discover some of the history that makes this corner of the Rideau Canal so special.

This was our first full patio season, and it gave us a pretty good sense of what works, what people enjoy, and where we can take it next.

We’re already thinking about how to develop the waterside experience for next season.

For now, we’re into the final stretch at Jones Falls - with the fall colours starting to show:
