Another adventure for our intrepid teens! A visit to D60 (located at Baron and Elgin, just a few minutes away) for a late lunch. They had burgers, milkshakes and desserts but were especially enthusiastic about the shakes.

Another fun about - why is that door there? Where does it go to? In this case, nowhere.

It was plastered over and hidden behind the wall until 2019, when we discovered it and decided to make it a feature. Once upon a time it opened onto very steep stairs to the basement, which is where the original kitchen was. But that’s a whole other story!

It’s always strange to receive an email from the office of the mayor Andrea Horwath especially when it arrives after 8pm on a Friday evening. But we are glad that the City City of Hamilton is taking this threat seriously enough to notify local businesses.

We were already aware of this group of losers. It should already be abundantly clear, but let us spell it out: at the Pring, we welcome the world to Hamilton. We believe in diversity and inclusion. We believe in safety and pride for all people, from everywhere.

We are also immigrant owned and q***r owned and allies to everyone that these neo-fascist bullies threaten. They are not welcome here and they never will be.
