Monday! A fresh start at a new week with fresh starts all the way around...

This weekend we welcomed new turkeys, news of newlyweds, the newly engaged and new homeowners! Congratulations to George and Oksana on their wedding, Logan and Sarah on their engagement and Amber and Chaos on their new home! Today, Amber gets her house on Pelee, just a stone's throw from the Inn and we're excited for her as she settles in at home.

Monday that feels like a Sunday....

Where to start?

This weekend the water spouted off more than the usual suspects, the Vanessa cardui brought some peace to the Cassandra complex, the fire will burn itself out as the swan song plays and we will dance to the beat of our own drum, got it?

Guests from Athens Greece‼️, Newmarket, Burlington, London, Belmont, Buxton now Windsor, Marblehead OH, and Kingsville came together on Pelee Island. They hit Stone & Sky, sipped the vino by candlelight "weather" they meant to or not, biked the whole place and walked 28k for the best reasons.

Not bahahahahahd for a simple Inn on a quiet island, eh?

Free falling into the weekend with a sweet whip, some good sips and a few tips.

The El Camino was cool as AF, the fire was fire, the Pavilion was fully reserved, and weather under promised and over delivered as guests from Blenheim, Whitby, Niagara, Dover, Canton MI, Mount Brydges and Aylmer explored Pelee on their own schedule

Thanks to everyone who made our week swell! We loved seeing some return guests and hearing how some new people found us.

Mid August energy is here!

The 'Murican kids are back at it while the Canuckians have a couple weeks left yet!

This past weekend guests from Markham, Put-In-Bay, Guelph, Kingston, Ottawa, Burnaby, Toronto, Peru, Columbia and Dover came to Pelee for a little less noise, a coupla few people and plenty of wine.

They spent their nights by the fire after biking the whole island, finding their beach, wondering why, playing a little dice, reconnecting with family and they walked right to the edge of Canada before catching Walk Off The Earth.

We are a simple Inn on a quiet island with 10 rooms with varying amenities to meet your needs while you are here. Our website has the best info on our little slice of heaven and you should absolutely snoop it before booking!

This week the dipper dipped, the sun eclipsed and the perseids flipped over our heads while a few more grounded guests biked the trail, met baby KJ and found "the other" beach from another view.

Guests from Windsor, Guelph x 3, Markham, London, Stoney Creek, Selkirk and Leamington spent a few days in Canada's deep south in search of dark skies and quiet days.

The Innkeeps are keeping up with good help and good vibes only from Amber, Chaos, Marilyn and Darlene 💪🫶

One King Suite is available August 19-21, and the rest of the month is cooked.

Welcome 🚴‍♀️

Proud to be an official Cycle Ontario stop on the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. Thanks to Tourism Windsor Essex for advocating for Pelee Island to be featured as one of the regions most unique cycling trails; connecting by ferry to two countries.

The Great Waterfront Trail Adventure or GWTA is an annual, supported, multi-day cycle tour and awareness ride to promote the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail and the communities that support the Trail.

Pelee is proud to make up 28 km of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail.

Tomorrow, August 13, the annual GWTA is making the trip over to Pelee Island with 60+ cyclists! The Township looks forward to welcoming all participants! 🚴 ☀️

Long weekend vibes come to a close as we saunter into August...

This past weekend guests from Fonthill, Clyde, Oakville, Windsor, Blenheim, London and Guelph hopped the ferry to Pelee Island to get a little downtime at the official half way point of the summer 🌞

They shopped the shops, found out the 6th time is a charm, napped it out fireside, peek- a-booed a heart in the redbud, read and had some bud, tried to help the gnome find the elusive one bedroom or any bedroom apartment on Pelee to no avail, schlepped through ankle deep puddles to run away when the wine they fetched themselves ran out, and got a glorious beach day with perfect waves to close out the weekend perfectly 🏖️

That Full Buck Moon in ♒ energy turned up the volume on the end of July insanity this week!

The ferry changed ports.
The achilles might have snapped.
The wrist definitely cracked.
There was a baby on the way with Dr. to be.
Fascinating stories from the HC
And a bunch of sisters got a Little High with some help from their friends. Or they got by? Either way... Same same.

Guests this week got some great cycling in, spotted an indigo bunting, walked the Florian, tried the pickerel, took a walk on the wild side, found a butterfly or 9, recorded it all and saved some laughs for the horseshoe too.

Sailing into the long weekend in and out of Kingsville now ⛴️

This past weekend was full of gentle reminders that this place has its magic...

Guests from Birmingham MI, Sarnia, Windsor, PIB, Ireland by way of The Big Smoke, Burlington and Whitby wore white on Pelee, had steak a deaux for Anni number 2, took in the live art, limped up the driveway in the official PIB whip, filled up before cycling the entire island thrice, smiled at the cutest Calvin we've ever seen while transporting the dino over 6,750kms...

They got the point of less, marveled at the butterflies, crowded the campfire, took in the common beauty of this place and we know they'll all return even though apparently... there is nothing to do on this island! 😏

September is a great time to visit. Book well in advance to get preferred dates and suites 🙌

It's hard to not be magnificently let down by our 🇺🇸 neighbours to the South and in Pelee's case...North this week. Everything from tariffs to tolls has CDNs reconsidering the trump card in every hand but not here at the Inn.

This week we had some fun Yanks from Cali and Colorado to Cleveland that we happily welcomed despite their Cheeto in Chief.

Canucks from Cambridge, Whitby, St.Cath's, Toronto, Kingsville, Woodstock, Binbrook, Windsor and even a dynamic duo from Espoo Finland made the trek to Pelee to support a l'il CDN biz, had the car corn, cruised with Gram, found the fire, chatted with Chaos, and sampled the breakfast wine🍷🍷

We have one doggo / kiddo friendly suite available Aug 7-9. Fetch it while ya can!
