Hiring a seasonal “Grounds Maintenance Person” for Manitoulin Resort, located just outside Manitowaning off Bidwell Rd.
Approximately 30 hours a week, give or take, depending on the individuals’ talents. We're looking for someone with experience in chainsaw usage and general maintenance. In addition, you will operate a tractor and a UTV or ATV. You may not have all of the skills we prefer however honesty is an important aspect of the job. Must be able to work unsupervised and follow directions. As part of our "family" you will also be privy to the additional perks of the job. We are hoping for a long term individual to work with us year after year. We require you only for Monday - Friday day shift or 4 days a week. Wage to be discussed - based on experience and skills. Due to the ice storm, high wind storms and flooding, we will open Friday May 29th at 9am. The grounds are now fully closed to everyone including seasonal campers. Thank you for your patience and understanding. See you May 29th.

Based on the wrath of Mother Nature and her unusual habits this year, we are forced to delay the opening of Manitoulin Resort for the May long weekend. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We will update opening day information once we are further into the task at hand.

Manitoulin Resort has been hit 3x times: 1- ice storm, 2- strong winds 3- high water.
There are trees & branches down everywhere plus waterfront is under water.
What a spring, Mother nature is creating havoc

Pumps outs ONLY on this Saturday Sept 20th, will start at 3 PM and onwards. If you are able to reschedule your pump out for Friday or Sunday it would be greatly appreciated.

Friday September 26th is the last day for pumpouts.

Just a reminder to seasonals that final invoices are ready for pick up and all outstanding payments must be paid in full by September 22, 2025. Feel free to call the store if you would like to know your balances in advance prior to arrival or e-transfers. Thank you for a fantastic season!😊

Last Night was our last MRCA Bingo of the season.
