Crisp fall evenings, cozy fires and a little lakeside magic. 🍂 There’s nothing quite like winding down beside a crackling fire after a beautiful autumn day in the Haliburton Highlands.

Our fire pit will be glowing from 7–10 pm each evening for our overnight guests. Settle in, relax and soak up the warmth and beauty of the season.

🍁 And here’s another reason to plan your fall escape!

For a limited time, we’re offering something we rarely do: a one-night getaway for two! Enjoy an overnight stay, a beautiful dinner for two and continental breakfast the following morning. Our usual two-night minimum is waived for this special offer.

Thanksgiving Dinner at The Post House 🦃 Gather around our table this Thanksgiving weekend and enjoy a special Thanksgiving Prix Fixe Dinner, served Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Begin with House Sourdough Bread with Kawartha Butter, followed by our Fall Salad with radicchio, kale, grilled pears, toasted pecans and pomegranate vinaigrette. Enjoy Celery Root & Apple Soup with maple and thyme, alongside a Baked Brie Tart with caramelized onions and plum chutney.

For the main course, our Roast Turkey is served with cider-glazed Brussels sprouts, green beans, pomme purée, sourdough stuffing, sage jus and cranberry preserve. Walnut Crusted East Coast Halibut and Roasted Butternut Squash are also available options.

And for dessert, enjoy Pecan Pie with wh***ey crème anglaise and Pumpkin Hazelnut Caramel Pie with vanilla chantilly.

🚨 LAST DAY TO ORDER! 🚨 Thanksgiving is almost here, and today, Monday, October 5, is your last chance to order Thanksgiving Dinner: Gourmet-To-Go from the Haliburton Post House.

Friday pick-up is now SOLD OUT, with limited availability remaining for Saturday and Sunday.

Gather your favourite people, set the table and leave the cooking to us. Enjoy roast turkey with all the fixings, along with house sourdough bread, fall salad, celery root & apple soup, baked brie tart and two decadent Thanksgiving pies.
