Lesa Catherine (Comeau) Isenor
June 8, 1967 – September 20, 2026
With broken hearts we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Lesa age 59 on September 20th, 2026, born on June 8th, 1967, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and currently residing in Springhill, Nova Scotia. Although Lesa had been struggling with some health setbacks over the last few years, things were looking hopeful and her attitude before her death was the same.
Lesa was known for her ability to engage with people, in such a way that opened many career opportunities for her. From a server to management of several companies, to an owner of a Foodland; Lesa excelled at whatever she put her mind to doing. Lesa enjoyed many trips she and her husband Patrick took, she enjoyed a good thrift and had a sweet tooth like no other! Lesa had an uncanny knack for creativity which over the years included; toll painting, picking some good antique finds, puzzles, reading, gardening in the green house, building many small woodworking projects with her father, Hubert, cooking and canning and most recently quilt restoration with her mother, Joyce.
Her commitment to her husband Patrick stood the test of time. Through the many difficult battles in life, they faced - if one could not carry the burden the other stepped up. They enjoyed taking yearly trips when their health could allow, watching the Blue Jays games together and shared immense pride in the children they raised. Samantha and Zachary both knew their Mom to be the best napper, the best snack hider, the most creative and adventurous woman they knew. She was also the decorator, the entrepreneur, the best florist, the best "Almost Santa". Lesa made sure to remind them both to live your life the way you envision yourself and it’s never too late to do anything you want.
Lesa’s Mom and Dad - Hubert and Joyce, Nannie and Papa/Grand-père – they were her main focus over the last few years. Not too many days went by when Lesa wasn’t with her parents doing something. In earlier years, she made sure to travel to Yarmouth every few weekends when Samantha was young to be with them; she believed in getting as much wisdom and knowledge from the generations before her. And although no parent should have their child go before them; their only wish for Lesa was that her health struggles were lifted from her. Prayer and love are what will continue to get them through.
Lesa is survived by her husband, Patrick Isenor – Springhill; Daughter, Samantha Clark (Finwick) – Lower Sackville; Son, Zachary Isenor – Springhill; Granddaughters, Cadence and Elsa (Lower Sackville); Brother, Emile Comeau (Shelley) – Shubenacadie; John Comeau (Brigitte) – Moncton; Sister-in-Law, Stephanie Isenor-Ryan (Brenda) – Truro; Brother-in-Law, Bruce Isenor (Glenda) – Shortt’s Lake; along with many Aunts & Uncles and Nieces & Nephews.
Lesa is predeceased by her Maternal Grandparents – Viola O’Connell and Jean Baptiste Lombard and Maternal Great-Grandparents – Bessie Delaney and Austin O’Connell. Paternal Grandparents – Evelyne Deviller and Emile Comeau and Paternal Great-Grandparents – Minnie Fitzgerald and Lois Deviller.
