February 15, 2026 campsite bookings will be open to the public for the upcoming season. The park opens May 1 however, full water services to sites will not be available until weather permits.

SEASONAL CAMPING AVAILABLE

Tall Timber Leisure Park has been part of the Alberta RV Landscape since 1979, when it was still just a dream and a cow pasture, and long before it became a premier travel destination campground in west-central Alberta.

Owners of RV sites at Tall Timber treat their summer lots as home. Tall Timber is a great summer community in Alberta's west country. Located just outside Sundre, adjacent to the Red Deer River, Tall Timber is within 5 minutes of an 18 hole championship golf course, shopping, hospital, and many other interesting attractions.

Our Park Amenities are perfect for families and people just looking for a great place to sit back and relax.

Wait till your kids get here! There are brand new playgrounds for them to try out, lots of walking and bike trails, and basketball courts. And of course, there's our Indoor Swimming Pool, confectionery and ice cream!

Currently Available

Tall Timber Leisure Park has a couple sites available that would fit a smaller RV under 25’ in length. If you are interested please reach out to the office at [email protected] and provide us your contact information and the size of your RV.

Well, our season is coming to a close.

Reception Closes October 15, 2024 at 3 pm.
Pool closes on September 9, 2024 and will reopen in May 2025.
Water and sewer will be turned off on October 1, 2024 at 8 am. (Water will be turned on as soon as the frost is out of the ground in the spring.)
Power will be off on November 1, 2024 until April 1, 2025.

Everyone has had such a great time and we're looking forward to next season to have more great times at Tall Timber!
