The Cyprus Certification Company (CyCert) is an accredited Certification Body established in 2002 as a private limited liability company, with the Cyprus Organisation of Standardisation being its sole shareholder through the Ministry of Finance. It is governed by a seven-member Board representing the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, and the private sector (Cyprus

Employers and Industrialist Federation (OEB), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Technical Chamber (ETEK), the Consumers Association, and academia). It promotes certification as a means of assisting businesses in improving their competitiveness for the benefit of their customers, employees, collaborators, and the community at large.

Cyprus Certification Company participated in the 5th Transnational Project Meeting of the European project MORAL – Key Skills MicroCredentials: A Passport to Employment and Inclusion, held on 8–9 July 2026 in Radom, Poland, bringing together all project partners.

During the meeting, CCC presented the implementation framework for the project's digital assessment and certification process, highlighting the methodology, procedures, and next steps for the digital assessment of learners and the awarding of the project's 20 micro-credentials. This framework will ensure a reliable, transparent, and high-quality certification process across all partner countries.

Partners also exchanged experiences on learner recruitment, the use of the asynchronous e-learning platform, the design of refresher preparation courses, and the planning of the upcoming assessment activities.

The MORAL project aims to improve access to employment for people who have experienced long-term unemployment particularly women, young people, and low-qualified adults, by strengthening the key skills required in today's labour market through the development of a Skills Passport based on micro-credentials, supporting their pathway to employment and social inclusion.

Η Κυπριακή Εταιρεία Πιστοποίησης (ΚΕΠ) πραγματοποίησε την Παρασκευή, 10 Ιουλίου 2026, ενημερωτική συνάντηση για τους συνεργάτες της με θέμα: «Τα αναθεωρημένα πρότυπα CYS EN ISO 9001:2026 και CYS EN ISO 14001:2026».

🧑‍🏫Στη συνάντηση, έγινε αρχικά παρουσίαση των υπηρεσιών της ΚΕΠ από τη Γενική Διευθύντρια, κ. Αθηνά Παναγιώτου και στη συνέχεια παρουσιάστηκαν οι αναμενόμενες αλλαγές στη νέα έκδοση του προτύπου
CYS EN ISO 9001:2026 από τον Διευθυντή Πιστοποίησης, κ. Βάσο Βασιλείου, καθώς και οι αλλαγές
της νέας έκδοσης του προτύπου CYS EN ISO 14001: 2026 από την Προϊσταμένη Έρευνας, Εκπαίδευσης και Πιστοποίησης Προσώπων, κ. Χρυσταλλένη Παπαδοπούλου.
